Hello again! Today I am back with another interview with the absolutely stunning Kate from Pretty Dresses in the Laundry.  If you haven't already read my first interviewing post with Chessie from Freshly Pickked that you can find here!

Kate runs her amazing blog and currently has a huge instagram following of 16.4k. She's such an inspiration to so many people so I hope you enjoy getting to know her!!

When and why did you start your Instagram and blog? /

I started my blog back in 2010 when I was only 15.  I started it on a whim after a friend of mine did and I was instantly hooked. I started my Instagram a few years later just as an extension of my blog.

How much has your Instagram and blog changed since then? /

It has changed so much, mainly just because I have grown up and developed my blogging style. The quality has definitely improved so much!

Who inspires you and who are your favourite bloggers/ instagrammers? /

Ah this is so hard because I am obsessed with so many haha! I can never remember the names of my favourites, but off the top of my head, I love Tara Milktea and Margaret Zhang.

How do you edit your photos and keep a good and consistent feed? /

I edit any of the photos that I also post on my blog, on Photoshop using Julia Trotti's curves as a base. For just Instagram photos,  I'm boring and just use Afterlight mostly.

What is the best present you have every received? /

My Adidas Superstars I think! I haven't taken them off since I got them. 

How did you come up with your name? /

It's based on an old wives tale that only pretty dresses leave the laundry clean!

What is the best thing about blogging? /
The experiences it has given me. I have had so many absolutely incredible opportunities that I never would have had without blogging. 

What 3 things make your day? /

Good weather, spending time with my family or friends and sweet comments on my blog and social media.

What is the favourite thing in your room? /

Right now, it is probably my vintage ladder that I have decorated with faux fur and fairy lights.

Your perfect day looks like... /

A sleep in, a yummy breakfast somewhere cute and then exploring somewhere photogenic with a camera.
